Meadows Jerry & Cherry
While most Presidents Cabinet members jumped into their businesses with both feet, Jerry Meadows started his by dipping a toe into the water. He pursued his opportunity only half heartedly until his father-in-law challenged him to prove the business could be successful.
That challenge was a turning point in Jerry's career. He and his wife, Cherry, began networking with renewed enthusiasm. As a result, their business was one of the fastest-growing in the organization. They've achieved Triple Diamond level and are looking to advance even further.
Today, the couple lives on a 110-acre estate named "The Meadows" located outside Nashville. It's a constant reminder to Jerry and his family of the potential entrepreneurship offers.
"Owning your own business is the fastest, smartest way to freedom, security, and outstanding income," he says. "Success does not have to be an impossible dream. It's there for those who go for it."
Jerry's success has also won him multiple nominations to represent his fellow Independent Business Owners through the Independent Business Owners Association International. Jerry served as the Board President in 1989-90 and again in 1994-95.
